Calculus

Calculus  is one of the great languages of Science. It is a symbolic notation for doing calculations. The word itself comes from the Latin word for a stone used in calculation and has close origin to modern day romance language verbs meaning to calculate. The math of Calculus is really divided into two parts. The first part is “Derivative” Calculus or the study of rates, the proportion miles/hour for example. While the second part is called “Integral” Calculus, which turns out to be the reverse process, adding things together in multiples.
